Your Role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute significantly to a range of stimulating infrastructure projects, primarily focused on railway systems and stations. You will join our multidisciplinary team that engages in both local and regional rail initiatives, tackling complex challenges and advising clients on effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support senior personnel in various planning and design tasks related to railway infrastructure and station projects across the Americas.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings.
  • Coordinate with various disciplines and collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to complete assigned tasks.
  • Draft reports for both internal and external stakeholders based on design development and analysis.
  • Present technical information in both traditional and innovative formats for diverse audiences.
  • Stay informed about trends and best practices within the civil and rail sectors.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design, with railroad project experience being advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, essential for effective teamwork.
  • Excellent planning capabilities suited for a dynamic work environment.
  • Presentation skills suitable for engaging with colleagues at all levels.
