A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE - PEST CONTROL SERVICE REP
In this role, you will deliver excellent customer service to our clients while ensuring the smooth operation of our pest control office. Your main responsibilities will include managing a high volume of communications—calls, texts, emails, voicemails, and web inquiries—while maintaining a comprehensive understanding of our services to cater to our customers' unique needs. Your friendly demeanor will shine through in every interaction as you address customer inquiries, proactively resolve issues, and strive to transform any dissatisfaction into satisfaction.
You will also engage in introspection to identify new business practices or suggest improvements to existing ones that could minimize customer cancellations. Maintaining open communication with management is essential to ensure we meet our customers' expectations through exceptional service.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of proven customer service experience in a call center or similar fast-paced setting
- Experience in an office, customer service, or sales capacity
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Above-average telephone skills and etiquette
Familiarity with pest control, rodent management, or termite control is advantageous. Knowledge of software such as PestRoutes and CallRail is a plus. Understanding service agreements, negotiation price points, and experience with routing/scheduling software is also beneficial. If you enjoy problem-solving, can maintain a positive attitude amidst changing demands, and are self-motivated and detail-oriented, you may be an ideal fit for this CSR position.
