Job Summary

This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients and families, providing exceptional customer service and support in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including scheduling appointments, registering patients, and verifying insurance information.
  • Coordinate patient flow, ensuring timely and efficient processing of patient information and transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and scanning documents.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of patient care and services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, office policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
