Senior Helpers Caregiver Manager Job Description

Senior Helpers is seeking a highly skilled Caregiver Manager to join their team in their (Location) office.

The Caregiver Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and services to clients, while also driving the growth and development of the caregiver team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Develop Caregivers: Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and development of caregivers, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and qualifications to provide high-quality care.
  • Caregiver Training and Development: Design and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance caregiver skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Caregiver Performance Management: Conduct regular site checks to monitor caregiver performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Morale Building and Recognition: Develop and implement recognition programs to boost caregiver morale and motivation, recognizing outstanding performance and achievements.
  • Operational Efficiency: Analyze and optimize caregiver scheduling, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing lost hours.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with caregivers, clients, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum one year of experience managing employees, preferably in a home care setting.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership: Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree and three years of related work experience strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required.
