Key Responsibilities- Provide Competent Clinical Nursing Care: Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Assess and Anticipate Discharge Needs: Identify and address the needs of patients and families to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- Develop Relationships with Families: Build trust and rapport with patients and families to promote their ability to advocate for themselves.
- Participate in Performance Improvement Activities: Contribute to the development and achievement of unit goals and objectives.
- Education: Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Experience: One (1) year of nursing experience caring for acute and chronically ill patients or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
