Nurse (Clinical/OB-GYN) - Medical Professional

Defense Health Agency is seeking a skilled OB-GYN Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients, assessing their health needs, and developing effective care plans. Your expertise in OB-GYN nursing will enable you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities
Identify at-risk patients and coordinate referrals as needed
Provide support, counseling, and health teaching to optimize therapies and interventions
Assess current health history to inform treatment and care plans
Refer patients to other healthcare providers as necessary
Perform vital signs assessments, blood glucose evaluations, and other special evaluations
Coordinate with physicians to discuss results and develop care plans
Instruct patients on medication use and treatment plans
Assist with ultrasounds and other medical procedures
Provide face-to-face triage and consult with providers as needed
Qualifications
A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program
Current, active license as a professional nurse in the United States
At least one year of experience in OB-GYN nursing, including providing care to intraoperative patients and educating patients or staff
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
