Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies, adhering to strict sterility protocols.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care, providing emotional support and ensuring a smooth transition between stages.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a clean and organized operating room, adhering to infection control guidelines.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Surgical Technician Certification required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred.
