POSITION SUMMARY

As a Pastry Cook III, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of desserts and pastries according to established recipes and presentation standards. Your role includes measuring, mixing, and baking ingredients while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients for baking, including portioning and chopping.
  • Utilize baking tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Monitor kitchen appliance temperatures and report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality food production.

It is essential to follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols. You are expected to maintain a professional appearance and communicate effectively with colleagues. Additionally, you will be required to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and navigate various surfaces within the kitchen environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Less than 1-year related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
