Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, including hydraulic presses, conveyors, and mixing machines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems to minimize downtime.
  • Support robotic control systems and troubleshoot electrical systems using required safety protocols.
  • Assist in the implementation of capital projects and participate in the improvement of plant equipment to maximize productivity.
  • Ensure accurate completion of all necessary paperwork and documentation, including PM forms and SAP work orders.
  • Safely perform all job tasks assigned, complying with company procedures and safety policy.
  • Continually update personal skill set to keep up with technology advancements.

Requirements:

  • Industrial maintenance experience, with a focus on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, digital multimeters, and other electrical testing equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs, work in various positions, and climb stairs/ladders.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in a related field preferred.

Work Environment:

Aerotek is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be working in a brick plant with large-scale hydraulic press machinery, with a significant amount of lifting and labor involved.
