Looking for a challenging role in the physical security, low voltage cabling and home theater industry? TEKsystems is hiring a Residential Technology Trainee to join their team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing Security, AV and Home automation systems in new construction homes.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. If you have experience assisting during installation or mounting of CCTV's, Alarms, Card Readers, Access Points, audio visual equipment, home theater equipment etc., we want to hear from you

About the Role:

Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with our experienced technicians to learn the latest technologies and techniques in the field. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing, testing and troubleshooting IT networks: Wi-Fi and Ethernet
  • Properly testing and terminating low voltage wiring
  • FOLLOWING PRODUCTION, SAFETY AND QUALITY STANDARDS TO CODE AND PROPERLY DOCUMENT WORK COMPLETED
  • Able to work in construction sites about 80% of the time

Key Skills:

  • 1-2 years of experience running, installing, and terminating low voltage cable
  • Experience assisting during installation or mounting of CCTV's, Alarms, Card Readers, Access Points, audio visual equipment, home theater equipment etc.
  • Strong Work Ethic, Communicative, Motivated

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
