We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Facilities Operations Coordinator to join our team at Community of Hope Church. This is a part-time position that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our community.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Assist in monitoring ongoing Preventative and Deferred Maintenance programs for all major mechanical and electrical systems of the assigned campus, including wall repair, painting, HVAC maintenance, cleaning, and daily custodial support.
- Landscaping and Grounds Keeping: Perform weekly and bi-weekly lawn maintenance, including operating heavy machinery to trim grass, edges, and weeds, as well as trimming trees, hedges, and bushes.
- Irrigation System Maintenance: Monitor the system for preventative maintenance and replace parts as needed.
- Outdoor Building Maintenance: Pressure wash sidewalks, buildings, and roofs.
- Ministry Support: Monitor the schedule and needs of large and small groups to provide set up and clean up, support the ministry with Food Pantry setup, first impressions support, event setup, and overall support of staff with additional needs while onsite.
- Experience: Experience in grounds and maintenance preferred.
- Education: No formal education required.
- Skills: Excellent social skills, high emotional intelligence, and a strong work ethic.
This is a part-time position and benefits include paid vacation, group health insurance, life insurance, and long-term disability insurance.
