Cybersecurity Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a leader in systems engineering, you will be responsible for designing and developing secure systems that meet the needs of our customers.
As a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in defending our country's infrastructure. You will understand your customer's environment and develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications will make you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and implement the Assessment and Authorization process under Risk Management Framework for new and existing information systems
- Review assessment reports and assist projects in identifying security risks, including technical and non-technical, and develop effective mitigation strategies
- Support the development or modification of System Security Plans and security requirements, and supporting documentation for the Assessment and Authorization process
- Ensure all products and administrative documentation is completed and maintained, including for continuity and historical reference
- Design, develop, and implement network security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation
- 5+ years of experience leading and implementing the Assessment and Authorization process under Risk Management Framework for new and existing information systems
- 3+ years of experience reviewing assessment reports and assisting projects in identifying security risks, including technical and non-technical, and developing effective mitigation strategies
- Knowledge of supporting the development or modification of System Security Plans and security requirements, and supporting documentation for the Assessment and Authorization process
- Ability to ensure all products and administrative documentation is completed and maintained, including for continuity and historical reference
- Ability to design, develop, and implement network security measures that provide confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience identifying information protection needs for an IS and Network environment
- Knowledge of integrating and implementing security with Cross Domain Solutions for use within an IS and Network environment
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in CS or Cybersecurity
- Amazon Web Service (AWS) or Cloud Service Provider Certification
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
