Job Title: Patient Care Technician

Job Duration: 3+ Months Contract (Temp-to-hire)

Pay range – $20 - $25/hr. on W2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Integrated Resources, Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients to exam/procedure rooms and obtain patient reported medical and social history, vital signs, and height and weight, as needed.
  • Transcribe orders into the EHR, including films, x-ray, labs, and other studies as appropriate, timely, and accurately.
  • Process patient referrals to other provider offices and prepare patient EMR charts timely and accurately.
  • Gather reports, labs, studies, or other data pertinent to upcoming patient appointments and fax and copy necessary information to insurance companies, other provider offices, and other facilities, as necessary.
  • Record information accurately and timely in the EHR and take phone messages.
  • Prepare charts for clinic and work in-basket messages and work queues.
  • Maximize use of free time between preparing patients and other tasks to clean and stock rooms, copy documents, and filing.
  • Obtain provider or patient signatures on appropriate documents and assist with medical and office supply inventory and ordering.
  • Follow the identified dress code and safety protocols to ensure patient and employee safety and maintain and practice professional boundaries with all patient and co-worker interactions.
Requirements:
  • Competently administer all department procedures, modalities, programs, and protocols, consistent with training, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Requires effective communication skills in dealing with patients, families, and co-workers.
  • Required: BLS from AHA.
  • Shift: 1st Shift (8AM-5PM), 5 days/week (40Hrs/Week).
