Job Overview

Compensation: $22-$25 per hour

Cambridge Real Estate Services is in search of a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of work per week, with a schedule from Tuesday to Saturday.

Position Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to execute repairs and preventative maintenance to uphold the quality and aesthetic of the properties managed. While on-site living may not be mandatory, it is essential to be present to address daily operational needs, which may include travel between multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address maintenance requests and facilitate apartment turnovers efficiently.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to ongoing maintenance issues, adhering to a 24-hour response time.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call service on a rotating schedule.
  • Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior common areas, including litter control in parking lots, trash enclosures, laundry facilities, community centers, and carports, as well as pressure washing of buildings and walkways.
  • Engage actively in company-sponsored training sessions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are representative of the skills and abilities required for this position:

  • Prior experience in residential maintenance is preferred.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions effectively.
  • Capability to complete maintenance reports accurately.
  • Strong customer service skills to assist residents and the public.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
