Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Katy Trail Community Health. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric care and be able to provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, physician, or advanced practice nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and record vital signs, discuss chief health concerns, and perform laboratory tests as needed.
  • Assist with specialized procedures, perform vision, peak flow, lung function, and EKG tests, and obtain samples for lab tests through venipuncture or nasal swabbing.
  • Administer and chart medications, perform injections, including immunizations, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with the latest medical guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Documentation of phlebotomy skills.
  • Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
