At Magnolia ISD, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our food service department, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food according to a planned menu, adhering to established recipes and procedures.
  • Supervise the storage and handling of food items and supplies, maintaining a clean and organized storage area.
  • Operate kitchen equipment and tools safely and efficiently, adhering to prescribed safety standards.
  • Follow established procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness, health, and safety in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Record food requisitions and orders, and maintain daily food preparation records.
Requirements:
  • Ability to understand food preparation and safety instructions.
  • Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures.
  • Ability to operate large and small kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
Working Conditions:

Continual standing, walking, pushing, and pulling; frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, and climbing (ladder); moderate lifting and carrying; moderate exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures.

Must be able to lift 30 pounds or more.
