Job Summary

As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing water and wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Direct and manage a team of design engineers on water/wastewater projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations.
  • Design and Construction: Evaluate, design, and oversee the construction of water and wastewater systems, including water transmission and distribution systems, water treatment systems, water and wastewater pump systems, and wastewater collection and conveying systems.
  • Client Relationships: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects, ensuring open communication and a deep commitment to listening to client needs.
  • Quality Control: Oversee and quality check the work of others, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.
  • Project Planning: Develop work plans, manage project budgets, and apply strong project management practices to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or one of its specialties.
  • Professional Experience: 7+ years of civil engineering experience, with a strong background in water and wastewater engineering.
  • Professional Registration: Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Colorado or ability to obtain State of Colorado license within 6 months.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and the public. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and water modeling software.
