The Radiology Department Director is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, organization, and direction of the Radiology Department at KA Recruiting Inc. in alignment with the company's values and mission.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement departmental goals, objectives, and policies to ensure efficient operation and high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and manage department staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure competency and job satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of radiology services with other hospital departments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
- Graduate from an accredited vocational or technical school of Radiologic Science; Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or a related field and/or combination of education/experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT (R) registration required; CRA-Certified Radiology Administrator preferred.
- 5+ years of radiology experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Previous supervisory/management experience; healthcare/clinical experience preferred.
- Ability to foster a positive team atmosphere through effective interpersonal skills.
- Able to communicate using both verbal and written format effectively.
- Ability to use multiple electronic systems, software, Internet, and computer skills.
