To successfully fulfill this role, an individual must demonstrate proficiency in all key responsibilities outlined below. The qualifications specified are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Embrace and adhere to Orbitform's Purpose, Mission, Vision & Values.
Engage in the assembly of machinery, which encompasses mechanical assembly, hydraulic and pneumatic connections, as well as wiring routing and termination.
Conduct machine initiation and troubleshooting, and support customer testing as required.Collaborate with senior machine builders in the mechanical assembly of specialized machinery.
Offer technical insights to Engineering and colleagues within the Machine Build department for potential product enhancements and defect resolution.
Ensure that products align with customer expectations throughout and beyond the warranty period by prioritizing quality.
Participate in multi-disciplinary concurrent development and corrective action initiatives.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time role. Standard working hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week. This position may require overtime.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during business hours, though occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be necessary.
Preferred/Required Education and Experience:
Two to four years of experience in machine assembly or servicing.
Ability to interpret mechanical assembly and control schematics.
Familiarity with mechanical and electrical machine operations along with basic troubleshooting capabilities.
Proficient in software applications such as Word, Excel, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Project.
