Job Summary

U-Haul is seeking a highly organized and proactive Facility Maintenance Associate to join our team. As a key member of our facility cleaning and maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide thorough cleaning and maintenance of storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other areas of the facility.
  • Dispose of trash and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Track and manage cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the facility's maintenance and cleaning needs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Availability to work part-time hours, including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts or machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of standing, moving around outdoors, positioning yourself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 pounds assisted or unassisted.
