Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Facility Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Portland Distribution Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily maintenance and sanitation activities, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and warehouse operations run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train maintenance associates to ensure that preventative maintenance procedures are in effect and are being performed on a timely basis.
  • Create, monitor, generate, and close planned maintenance and job tasks using the computerized maintenance program.
  • Facilitate inspections as necessary to ensure that the facility meets Company, Federal, State, and Local guidelines and regulations regarding sanitation and pest control.
  • Verify work orders to ensure that they are properly prepared and verify correct inventory procedures were followed.
  • Order parts, supplies, or tools to accomplish all jobs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge of the computerized maintenance program to document and schedule all maintenance tasks and inventories.
  • Good leadership skills and the ability to supervise the work of others.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic computer skills required and personal computer experience, with word processing and spreadsheet applications preferred.

Travel Requirements: Less than 10% of the time.

Physical Environment: Most work is performed in typical warehouse conditions, with temperatures varying between -20 degrees to 70 degrees.
