Director of Rehabilitation

Laurelwood Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our therapy team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective rehabilitation programs that meet the needs of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation programs that meet the needs of our residents
  • Lead and manage a team of therapists and rehabilitation staff
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, and treatments of facility patients/residents
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with patient needs
  • Implement treatment plans through direct treatment and education of treatment staff
  • Attend and lead interdisciplinary meetings as appropriate
  • Collaborate with facility and corporate denials management specialist regarding ADR/denied therapy claims
  • Conduct staff and family training and education as needed
  • Maintain accurate billing information and comply with documentation requirements
Requirements:
  • State-licensed clinician (PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA) from an accredited program
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective leadership and management skills
