Cloud Computing Career Coach Job Description

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a skilled Cloud Computing Career Coach to support the career progression of students in the Cloud Computing Certificate program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and experience in career coaching, particularly in STEM-related fields.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one career coaching to students in the Cloud Computing Certificate program
  • Develop and present online career-support workshops, including resume and cover letter workshops, mock interviews, and more
  • Build relationships with employers in the cloud computing industry and facilitate interactions between students and employers
  • Support the growth of the Cloud Computing Certificate program by attending recruitment events and making connections with potential students
  • Perform administrative tasks, including planning and meeting coordination

Requirements:
  • Master's degree
  • At least two years of experience in cloud computing or a related field
  • Experience in career coaching, particularly in STEM-related fields
  • Strong network of contacts in the cloud computing industry
