Position Summary

As a Bartender, your primary responsibility is to deliver exceptional service by preparing and serving a variety of beverages to guests. You will also maintain cleanliness and organization within the bar area while performing various food service tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons and staff.
  • Take and process drink and food orders at the bar, providing detailed descriptions of menu items.
  • Manage bar inventory, ensuring supplies are restocked and organized.
  • Conduct opening and closing inventory checks of alcoholic beverages.
  • Safeguard all alcoholic products, ensuring they are stored securely.
  • Assist in the preparation of garnishes and other bar-related items.
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar equipment and appliances.
  • Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
  • Refuse service to minors and intoxicated individuals.
  • Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change as needed.
  • Uphold the cleanliness of the bar area by disposing of waste and cleaning glassware.
  • Support fellow staff members as needed.
  • Participate in thorough cleaning of the bar area.
  • Adhere to all safety and security protocols.
  • Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements
  • Work primarily indoors, with exposure to varying temperatures.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 45 lbs.
  • Capable of maneuvering in tight spaces and managing equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.
  • Requires good hearing, vision, and manual dexterity.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume bar environment.
  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
  • Hold relevant certifications in alcohol service and food handling.
Grooming Standards
All staff members are expected to maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.

Attendance Policy
Consistent attendance is crucial for the success of this role, and adherence to scheduled shifts is required.
