Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse - On Call to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary group, you will provide direct patient care services and supportive care to patients' families after normal business hours. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating patient/family needs, preparing and executing plans of care, and maintaining accurate clinical records.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care services to hospice patients and supportive care to patients' families after normal business hours
  • Manage an interdisciplinary group consisting of Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and support staff to enhance the quality of hospice care
  • Evaluate patient/family needs and assist in the preparation and execution of plans of care for each patient
  • Maintain all assigned patient clinical records
  • Participate in company quality assessment and performance improvement programs
Requirements
  • Compassionate, kind, and empathetic to patients and their families
  • A current RN license (in the state of requested employment or ability to obtain)
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or oncology preferred
