Pharmacy Operations Manager

About the RoleUnder the supervision of the Pharmacy Director, you'll be responsible for supervising and managing daily pharmacy operations and activities. This includes implementing and maintaining medication preparation and distribution services, ensuring effective supervision and staff development, and promoting positive employee and guest relations.
Key Responsibilities- Assure the delivery of quality patient care through the implementation and maintenance of medication preparation and distribution services.
- Establish and maintain effective communication lines with Pharmacy, Nursing, Medical Staff, Materials Management, Information Systems, Finance, and other outside entities within the facility.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure integration of Pharmacy activities and objectives within the Pharmacy Department.
- Maintain well-organized workflow and labor productivity within the Pharmacy Department.
- Integrate services into the organization's primary functions and demonstrate effective managerial judgment, fairness, and consistency in managing employee relations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current trends in business and healthcare industry, with the ability to analyze impact on department operations.
- Ability to maintain optimization of staff ratios within the Pharmacy law for maximum productivity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to integrate services into the organization's primary functions.
- Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure integration of Pharmacy activities and objectives within the Pharmacy Department.
