TheraEx Staffing Services - APP is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to fill a locum tenens position in a Family Practice clinic in Whittier, California.
Job Details:- Pay: $110 per hour
- Duration: 13 weeks with the option to extend
- Setting: Clinic, Family Medicine: All ages, Internal Medicine: Adult only
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1:00PM - 9:30PM, No Weekends, No Holidays
- Call Schedule/Responsibilities: No Call - 1PM - 9:30PM, Monday - Friday
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages, with a focus on family medicine and adult internal medicine
- Manage patients with common outpatient clinic conditions, including colds, flu, and rashes
- Diagnose and treat patients with diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic conditions
- Work in a team environment with physicians, other NPs, and MA/LVN staff
- Use Epic EMR system to document patient information and communicate with other healthcare providers
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted California License and Furnishing License
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Urgent care experience with high acuity patients
- Board Certified - Certified Physician Assistant ONLY
- Full-time coverage is mandatory - no deviations from the requested schedule will be accepted
- Must be able to provide at least 2 supervisory references
