About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VDC Project Manager to join our team at VIATechnik. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for driving project success and supporting the development of our project teams.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage VDC/BIM projects across the VDC spectrum, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Act as the primary interface to clients, cultivating strong relationships and presenting work to stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to understand complex needs and create project roadmaps.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, enhancing VIATechnik's commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to our culture of professional development and knowledge sharing by participating in and leading training efforts.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of project experience, with 5+ years in a VDC capacity.
  • Strong technical understanding of project management processes, tools, systems, workflows, and schedules.
  • Deep understanding of project requirements and goals, with the ability to accomplish them.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of developing strong relationships.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of primary building systems and the sequence of assembly.
  • Availability for occasional travel to client sites.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Led online meetings across remote project teams.
  • Proficiency in leading trade coordination, clash detection, and communicating results to stakeholders.
  • Experience with producing constructable, field-valuable collateral.
  • Managed BIM and VDC across the project lifecycle.
  • A track record of effectively working with and/or managing teams remotely.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects, requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and flexible attitude.

What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $110,000 - $116,000, with eligibility for bonuses.
  • Health insurance with five plan options, covering 70-95% of premiums for VIATechies and 70% of premiums for dependents.
  • Dental and vision insurance, covering 75% of monthly premiums for VIATechies and 50% of premiums for dependents.
