Role Overview:

As a Benefits Advisor, you will collaborate with union consultants to evaluate their group benefit requirements, analyze existing offerings, and pinpoint opportunities for new plans or products. Your role will involve educating clients on plan design, funding models, potential rate structures, and comprehensive coverage details.

You will be expected to meet annual targets, actively prospect for new business, and maintain existing renewal business throughout the year. Close collaboration with our carrier partners and account management team will be essential to service both new and renewal business effectively.

Your responsibilities will encompass various health and welfare plans, with a focus on benefits consulting and administration within the Union/Taft-Hartley sector. You will be required to acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of all funds and benefit plans, particularly in relation to pension, annuity, and retirement funds.

Regular engagement with multiple union groups, their leaders, and members will be a key aspect of your role, providing them with plan information and addressing inquiries regarding benefits, coverage, claims, and more. Additionally, you will play a significant role in reviewing and analyzing the groups' claims experience, emphasizing reporting and analysis.
