St. Luke's University Health Network, recognized as the largest and most established health system in the region, is currently seeking a Chief of Hematology and Oncology Services. We are in search of a dynamic and collaborative leader who has demonstrated success as an academic physician. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical knowledge and be a distinguished researcher and/or educator with a proven history of team building and fostering collaboration.

The Chief will report directly to the Director of St. Luke's Cancer Center and will oversee the clinical operations of 26 providers in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Key responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, physician recruitment, performance evaluation, operational and financial oversight, quality improvement, and enhancing clinical outcomes.

About St. Luke's Cancer Center and the Hematology/Oncology Section

  • St. Luke's Cancer Center serves a diverse population of over 1.5 million individuals across 8 counties in Eastern Pennsylvania and Western New Jersey, treating more than 5,000 new patients annually. Clinical services are delivered through 14 hospitals and 9 outpatient centers, including 9 infusion and 4 radiotherapy facilities.
  • The Hematology and Oncology Section has a rich history of providing state-of-the-art clinical care, currently comprising 12 physicians and 14 advanced practitioners.
  • St. Luke's Cancer Center has recently established ACGME-accredited Fellowships in Hematology/Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology.
  • The multidisciplinary team at St. Luke's Cancer Center includes specialized professionals such as genetic counselors, patient navigators, and nurse navigators, dedicated to guiding and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. Additional services include a healing arts program, nutritional support, rehabilitation services, and access to clinical trials.
