Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and report patient information and data to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing, and dressing.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently to and from various locations within the hospital.
  • Collect and process patient specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Distribute linens and supplies to patient rooms to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Deliver ice and beverages to patients as needed.
  • Monitor patient safety and provide support as assigned to at-risk patients.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a Connecticut-approved Nurse Aide Training Program preferred or in process of earning a BA in Nursing or Health Sciences with at least one clinical completed or significant previous healthcare-related experience.
  • Proof of college transcript required or significant nurse assistant/healthcare-related experience is required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
