IT Support Specialist

Job Summary: Kaimetrix is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to our team at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Brunswick, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide On-Site Technical Support: Offer daily technical support at FLETC and occasional support at HQ, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Troubleshoot various client hardware issues, network problems, and client image requirements.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of all IT equipment and manage updates and configurations.
- Executive Support: Ensure high-quality support for HQ executives and the Chief of CI, including quick resolution of IT issues.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with tiered government-level user support teams to handle more complex IT issues, adhering to strict service level agreements.
- Real-Time Support: Ensure minimal to no downtime in classrooms and executive offices, with quick resolution to IT issues in real-time.
- User Interaction: Regularly interact with users to assess needs and ensure satisfaction with IT support services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve IT hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Network Configuration: Strong knowledge of network configuration, including client image management.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, capable of working constructively with end users and team members.
- Government Experience: Previous experience working in a government or law enforcement environment is preferred.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a government clearance.
Education:
- Associate's Degree: Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
- Drug Testing: Drug testing will be required as a condition of employment.
