Role Overview

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team in Lancaster, California.

About the Role

This position requires a qualified Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care and management to patients. The successful candidate will report to the Director, Assistant Director, and/or Clinical Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients, interpreting examination findings to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction, with the goal of restoring their abilities to move and perform functional activities.
  • Establish and implement plans of care to achieve established goals relative to age, medical history, and dysfunction.
  • Administer or prescribe modalities and other physical agents as necessary.
  • Develop and implement exercise programs for patients, taking into account their unique needs and conditions.
  • Demonstrate professional competence and clinical reasoning in assessing patient conditions throughout all phases of skilled physical therapy.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to department guidelines on cleanliness and reporting non-functioning equipment as required.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited PT training program with a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current Physical Therapist License (California) or Physical Therapist License Applicant (California) at hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association at hire.
  • National Provider Identifier at hire.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
