The Regional Ministry Coordinator collaborates with the Director and Advisory Team to actualize the FCA Vision, advance the FCA Mission, and embody the FCA Values by executing the ministry strategy for the designated region. Within the FCA Sports Environments, the Coordinator guarantees a unified method for discipleship, fostering a culture of making disciples who, in turn, make disciples. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that the FCA ministry operates in alignment with biblical principles and complies with FCA policies and procedures.
MINISTERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are essential to the FCA mission, and this role is crucial to our ministry. FCA anticipates that all tasks and responsibilities outlined below will be performed with a heart dedicated to serving God as an act of worship.
- Agree with and adhere to FCA's Christian Community Statement.
- Maintain a spiritual rhythm that includes daily prayer and Bible study to seek divine guidance for FCA.
- Provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes through prayer, Bible study, worship, and exemplary living to equip them for service.
- Engage with and participate in a local church through worship and consistent involvement.
- Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects biblical standards of conduct in accordance with FCA's Christian beliefs at all times.
- Engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through personal interactions, Huddles, and Events.
- Train and equip staff and volunteers to empower coaches and athletes to become disciples who make disciples within the Sports Environments.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of effective and diverse volunteers who guide every coach and athlete toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
- Recruit: Actively seek and attract highly qualified volunteers to the Sports Environments.
- Train: Provide resources and training to enhance volunteers' skills and increase their capacity to fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
- Develop: Support volunteers in their roles by fostering their spiritual and personal growth.
- Invite, involve, and invest in an Advisory Team committed to prayer, service, and financial support.
- Connect, communicate, and care for existing and potential financial partners to achieve full funding.
- Manage and oversee the finances for the assigned area of responsibility.
- Establish and implement an annual budget and funding strategy by expanding the Home Team, major donors, and events.
- Collaborate with the Director to serve the aligned International Region through prayer, giving, and outreach.
This position seeks a Coordinator to serve within our Collegiate Men's Ministry. The mission for this role is to equip male student-athletes and coaches by fostering meaningful relationships that can lead to discipleship opportunities. Through these connections, you will empower coaches and athletes to fulfill their calling in the collegiate athletic arena and make a positive impact on the campus community. The Coordinator should be adept at connecting with male students from diverse backgrounds, reflecting the unique culture of collegiate athletics.
