Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH). As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography procedures, including breast imaging, ultrasound, wire localizations, ductograms, cyst aspiration, and core biopsies.
  • Operate and maintain various types of x-ray and related equipment, ensuring proper safety standards and protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including explaining exams, maintaining confidentiality, and promoting a positive patient experience.
  • Participate in quality control tests, research, and quality improvement projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid Massachusetts license as a Radiologic Technologist in the category of Radiography.
  • Valid Massachusetts license in the category of Mammography.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with a strong background in mammography.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal exposure to ionizing radiation. You will be expected to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed, and to maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail at all times.
