Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach in our Counseling department. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field and experience in clinical mental health.

Responsibilities
  • Teach up to seven semester credit hours within the required discipline.
  • Develop and manage the class syllabus.
  • Plan and create lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments.
  • Assess grades for students based on participation, performance, and examinations.
  • Assist and mentor students as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field.
  • Experience in clinical mental health.
  • Counseling theory and supervision knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Licensing/Professional Certifications: LPC, LPCS, LMFT, LCDC, NCC, or NBCC.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Candidates with current relevant professional credentials.
  • College or University teaching experience.
  • Evidence of teaching excellence.
  • Prior relevant industry experience.
  • Online or hybrid teaching experience.
