CastleWorks Careers is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Lead Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for leading the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment for residential and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Commissioning: Lead the installation of HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners, and dehumidifiers, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and company requirements.
- Wiring and Electrical: Complete wiring of low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Ductwork and Piping: Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings, ensuring proper airflow and pressure.
- Gas Line Installation: Ensure connection of gas lines to heating equipment is properly completed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Material Management: Determine the required materials for each job, receive and load them into the company vehicle, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Team Support: Provide necessary support to other team members to complete tasks on time, as instructed by management.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate completion of all paperwork needed for each job, including readings and machine operation.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the assigned company vehicle is kept clean and well-maintained.
- Experience: Five years of HVAC installation experience, with a strong understanding of manufacturer specifications and company requirements.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, with EPA certification a plus.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift items weighing up to 100lbs safely, and climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl, or kneel continually.
- Certifications: Successfully completed at least one NATE test.
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude: Possess a strong understanding of HVAC equipment and systems.
- Effective Communication: Possess effective verbal and written communication skills, with excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid California Driver's license, pursuant to company policy.
- Hand Tools: Possess necessary hand tools for the job.
