About Us
Williamson Health is one of the South's most exceptional health care systems, with a 203-bed hospital (Williamson Medical Center), over 40 providers at our Williamson Health Medical Group locations, the Bone & Joint Institute, and the Monroe Carell Junior Children's Hospital Vanderbilt at Williamson Medical Center. We offer comprehensive in-patient and out-patient services, with more than 825 providers representing over 70 medical specialties and sub-specialties.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, implement, and plan nursing care for patients with cancer and blood disorders.
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical records and electronic health records.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- RN licensure in the State of Tennessee.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
- Oncology Certification (OCN) or Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse (CPHON) certification preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in oncology nursing.
Salary Range
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
