Medical Oncology Nurse Specialist

About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing expert care to patients with various types of cancer. As a Registered Nurse Float, you will assist physicians in assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and their families on disease management.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques
Requirements
- Licensure: Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Residence
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in oncology nursing, preferably in a clinic or hospital setting
- Certifications: Current CPR certification; BLS certification required upon hire
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
