Role Responsibilities:

  • Patient Preparation: Prepare individuals for radiologic examinations by providing clear instructions and assisting them in positioning for optimal imaging.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize radiologic machinery to capture diagnostic images, adhering to established safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Safety Protocols: Implement radiation safety measures to protect both patients and staff during imaging procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the functionality of radiologic equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and ensure proper workflow within the Radiology department.

Medical Support Duties:

  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing as required.
  • Assist in patient evaluations, including vital signs and ancillary testing.
  • Support healthcare providers during examinations and treatments.
  • Manage clerical tasks related to patient care and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a state-approved Limited Scope Technician program.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification.

Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of six months of experience in a medical setting, particularly in radiology.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Familiarity with occupational medicine practices is preferred.
