Optical Dispenser

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Dispenser to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As an Optical Dispenser, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient experiences through the selection, measurement, ordering, and fitting of eyewear.
Key Responsibilities- Custom Eyewear Fitting: Fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses to ensure a perfect fit for each patient.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing guidance and support to peers, and collaborating with doctors and practice staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Patient Communication: Explore patients' needs and priorities by asking open-ended questions, and strive to develop long-term solutions to problems.
- Operational Efficiency: Operate the point-of-sale system with accuracy and attention to detail, and commit to delivering exceptional results on individual and team goals.
- Team Player: Foster positive working relationships with the practice, communicate concerns promptly to the Manager, and consistently maintain a professional dress code.
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
- Licensure: Active state optical licensure; must maintain license.
- Skills: Strong customer service skills, basic math skills, sales skills, and the ability to multi-task and manage time with competing priorities.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with technology, such as point-of-sale, patient record systems, and other software applications.
