Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Optical Dispenser to join our team at EssilorLuxottica Group. As an Optical Dispenser, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient experiences through the selection, measurement, ordering, and fitting of eyewear.
Key Responsibilities
- Custom Fit Glasses and Lenses: Precisely place prescriptions in lenses and ensure accurate measurements to fulfill all of the patient's eyewear needs.
- Lead Optical Acumen: Act as a leader in optical acumen, providing a voice for peers and supporting the establishment of the practice as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community.
- Measure and Adjust Eyewear: Take and record measurements, adjust or fit eyewear correctly, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and patient requirements.
- Patient Needs Assessment: Explore the needs and priorities of patients by asking open-ended questions and providing personalized solutions.
- Support Peers: Assist peers with difficult or complex areas of product needs and prescriptions, and anticipate problems to develop long-term solutions.
- Operate Point-of-Sale System: Input patient information with accuracy and attention to detail, and commit to delivery dates and times.
- Team Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with all doctors and practice staff on a daily basis to ensure high-level partnership for patient care.
- Adhere to Company Policies: Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounting, promotions, and inventory management.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Work Weekends and Evenings: Work weekends and evenings in support of business needs.
- Attend to Daily Tasks: Adhere to attendance and daily time-keeping requirements, and perform other duties as assigned by Manager or as business needs.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Active State Optical Licensure
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Basic Math Skills
- Sales Skills
- Familiarity with Technology
