Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing tasks outlined on the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
  • Conducting test drives and assessing vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Communicating directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs and providing time estimates for repairs.
  • Performing warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintaining required training standards.
Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions and information.
