Our Obstetric and Pediatric Unit at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center offers comprehensive care to expecting mothers, including labor and delivery, newborn couplet care, pediatrics, and gynecological needs. Our state-of-the-art unit features 7 labor and delivery beds, 4 triage beds, and 14 mother/baby couplet rooms, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our patients.
Our TeamWe have a dedicated team of midwives, OB/GYN physicians, and Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians available 24/7 to provide expert care. Our unit also has the support of inpatient and outpatient lactation services, with lactation consultants and counselors available to assist our patients. Additionally, we have a dedicated Nurse Educator who provides structured education and live drills throughout the year.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additionally, they should have Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire, completion of AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course or acquire during introductory period, and Neonatal Resuscitation Certification or acquire during introductory period.
