We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team at American Implement. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing various systems of agricultural equipment to ensure our customers' operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on agricultural equipment
* Perform diagnosis and plan effective repairs of machinery
* Prepare reports and forms required for work assignments
* Follow production schedules and requirements for completion of assignments
* Participate in service training programs to develop skills and knowledge
* Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition
* Comply with all safety rules and regulations
* Provide professional and courteous service to customers

Requirements

* Three to five years' experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment
* John Deere Tech graduate, John Deere Technician experience, or equivalent experience preferred
* Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
* Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes
* Computer skills
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Valid drivers license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements

* Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching overhead, regularly lifting 75 lbs without assistance, grasping with both hands, pushing and pulling, working around moving machinery, driving a vehicle, extensive hours on a computer, hearing normal tones, and seeing. May be exposed to extreme weather conditions from extreme heat to winter blizzard conditions.
