Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Highmark Health. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering therapeutic radiation and patient care services as prescribed by physicians.

• Perform patient simulations to ensure accurate treatment delivery.
• Deliver prescribed radiation treatment to patients, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
• Assess, support, and educate patients according to departmental guidelines, promoting a positive patient experience.
• Maintain accurate medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory and departmental guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required, including mentoring employees and participating in departmental initiatives.

• ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(T) in good standing or board eligible, with certification completed within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearance certificates.
