Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Highmark Health. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering therapeutic radiation and patient care services as prescribed by physicians.

• Perform patient simulations to ensure accurate treatment delivery.
• Deliver prescribed radiation treatment to patients, adhering to departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Assess, support, and educate patients according to specific department guidelines, promoting a positive patient experience.
• Maintain accurate medical records for treatment delivery, charge entry, and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory and departmental guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required, including mentoring employees/students and participating in department and organizational initiatives.

• ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(T) in good standing or board eligible (must complete certification within 1 year of hire).
• CPR – American Heart Association certification.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
