Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Board Certified Cardiac Surgeon to lead and grow a well-supported cardiac surgery program in Northern California. This position will work to develop and grow the cardiac surgery service line, which spans the entire North Bay region to the Oregon border.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cardiac surgery program strategy
  • Lead a team of cardiac surgeons and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Collaborate with interventional and electrophysiology cardiologists to develop and implement a comprehensive cardiac care program
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians and hospitals to grow the cardiac surgery service line
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • At least 5 years of experience in cardiac surgery
  • Skills in complex revascularization, mitral valve repair, aortic surgery, thoracic surgery, minimally invasive and robotic techniques
  • Expertise in vascular surgery is a plus
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
