Radiology Job Opportunity

At Mercy, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling x-ray equipment and possess excellent communication skills.

About the Role:
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures, including mobile and other equipment usage. They will work closely with patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.

Requirements:
A graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completion of required clinical hours is mandatory. State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. Additionally, registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for the state of Kansas is necessary. Prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a similar healthcare setting, is also preferred.

Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Working Conditions:
The successful candidate must be capable of manipulating x-ray equipment, carrying cassettes, and lifting, moving, and transporting patients. Continuous standing and walking are essential aspects of this role, along with recognizing emergency situations and adapting to stressful situations. Proficiency in using radiographic equipment, processors, and computers is also required.
