About the Role:

The Physical Therapist Assistant assists the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy services to patients. This includes performing physical therapy procedures and related tasks that have been selected and delegated by the supervising Physical Therapist. The incumbent may modify specific treatment procedures in accordance with changes in patient status within the scope of the Physical Therapist's established treatment plan.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Physical Therapist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
* Perform physical therapy procedures and related tasks as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
* Modify treatment procedures as needed based on changes in patient status
* Document patient progress notes and maintain accurate records
* Collaborate with the Physical Therapy team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care
